The police are investigating the death of a 62-year-old man, whose body was found at the bottom of a well in his Naxxar home earlier today.

In a statement, the police said the man’s body was found at around 2pm in his house in an alley in St Lucy’s Street.

Civil Protection Department officials were called in to recover the body and a magisterial inquiry has been opened.
