Man Found Dead In Pool Of Blood On Streets Of Mellieħa

The body of an as of yet unidentified man was found lying in a pool of blood last night on Triq il-Wied ta’ Ruman, in Mellieħa, last night.
Police were called to the scene just after 10pm, where the man’s body was found face down on the road having lost a substantial amount of blood.
The man is believed to have fallen from the Roman wall that lines the road. He was confirmed as dead by authorities upon arrival at the scene.

The man is believed to have been around 30 years of age. Police are currently looking into whether or not the case was accidental or not, with Dr Mario Scerri assisting Inspector Paula Ciantar with investigations.
Magistrate Rachel Montebello is presiding over the case.
