A 39-year-old man was grievously injured in a Gudja traffic accident that occurred this morning.

According to the police report, the incident happened at around 8.00am, this morning on Dawret il-Gudja.

Preliminary investigations showed that the man, a Wied il-Għajn resident, was driving his motorbike before colliding into an Opel Corsa, driven by a 36-year old woman. 

The motorcyclist was shortly assisted by a medical team, and taken straight to the hospital.

Police investigations are still ongoing.
