Man In Critical Condition After Getting Caught In Factory Machinery In Żurrieq Plant

A man has been rushed to hospital where he is fighting for his life following an accident at a factory in Triq il-Belt Valletta, Żurrieq.

After police went on-site, initial investigations had shown that the man was injured after he was ‘caught’ within some form of machinery that he was operating at the time.

The man, whose identity is presently unknown, needed assistance from the Civil Protection Unit as well as medical personnel, the latter of whom later took him to Mater Dei Hospital by ambulance.

Police investigations on the matter are currently underway
