Man Suffers Serious Injuries After Being Hit By Car In Żabbar Car Park
A 52-year-old man from Żurrieq was seriously injured late last night after being hit by a car in a car park in Triq il-Mina ta’ Ħompesch, Żabbar.
The incident happened at around 11.30pm, when the man was struck by a Toyota Vitz driven by a 26-year-old Kalkara resident.
The victim was given medical assistance on site before being taken to Mater Dei Hospital by ambulance, where he was certified as suffering from serious injuries.
Magistrate Philip Galea Farrugia has appointed an inquiry, while police investigations are ongoing.
