Mario Philip Azzopardi Calls Metsola A ‘Fascist Mafiosa’ And Adds Swastika To Her Name
Renowned Maltese TV and theatre director Mario Philip Azzopardi has come out all guns blazing against Roberta Metsola, linking the European Parliament president with Nazism.
“Well done to those MCAST students for confronting that fascist mafiosa Metsola. We will never forget,” Azzopardi wrote.
For good measure, he replaced the ’S’ of her surname with a swastika and encouraged people to share his post.
Six students at MCAST today picketed Metsola with placards denouncing her as a “genocide enabler” over her stance on the Gaza war. Metsola responded by stressing the European Parliament is in favour of peace in the region.
