Marsaskala Apartment Fire Kills Neighbour In Early-Morning Tragedy

A man died early this morning after a fire broke out in his apartment block.

The incident took place at 5:30am. The 35-year old man was found dead by members of the Civil Protection Unit in the common area of the apartment block.

Six other people were taken to hospital as the residents of the apartment, including two babies, fled the scene.

Investigations are being carried out to find out what happened in the block at Triq l—Ahmar
