Martin Ambinette, the 65-year-old man who had been missing for nearly three weeks, has been found dead in Wied Blandun, Fgura, ONE has reported.

Ambinette was a long-time resident at Dar Merħba, a home for people with disabilities run by Fondazzjoni Wens. He was last seen leaving the residence, as he often did, but failed to return that evening. At the time, he was wearing a dark jacket with San Ġiljan ASC written on the back.

His disappearance triggered a major search effort by the police, who also questioned individuals close to Ambinette in an effort to trace his movements. CCTV footage had previously captured him walking through Fgura following his disappearance.
