Massage Parlours Shut Down After Owner Pleads Guilty To Prostitution

The police have shut down two massage parlous – in Qormi and Luqa – after its owner was arrested and pleaded guilty to profiting off prostitution.
Aaron Caruana, a 31-year-old from Tarxien, was prosecuted today in front of magistrate Gabriella Vella following a police investigation into his massage parlours in Triq San Ġużepp, Qormi and Triq il-Ġdida, Luqa.
He pleaded guilty to charges of profiting off prostitution and allowing his properties to be used as brothels and will be sentenced on Monday.
Police inspector John Spiteri, from the Vice Squad, confirmed police managed to track down Caruana following an investigation into his massage parlour’s Facebook pages.
