A group of boys had their phones and wallets stolen from their bags while playing in a football tournament at MCAST, Paola, last Tuesday, 19th December.

Lovin Malta spoke to the mother of one of the boys, who said they weren’t provided with lockers and had therefore left their bags by a wall on the pitch.

While their bags were unoccupied, a thief of thieves rifled through them and made off with several wallets and phones.

At least four police reports were filed, and a police spokesperson confirmed with NET that they are analysing CCTV footage.
