Alex Agius Saliba Secures Second Seat At The European Parliament
Labour politician Alex Agius Saliba has just won a seat at the coveted European Parliament (EP), being the first PL MEP announced today.
The number of votes he’s received has not yet been confirmed.
This is Agius Saliba’s second term as MEP, having filled the role since 2019 and forming part of the centre-left Socialists & Democrats group.
Polls leading up to today marked Agius Saliba as Malta’s second favourite candidate, closely following EP President Roberta Metsola.
