Daniel Attard Snags European Parliament Seat
Labour politician Daniel Attard has just snagged a European Parliament seat, marking the PL’s third seat out of the full six.
Thomas Bajada has also just been elected to the EP.
The 31-year-old former Mtarfa mayor emerged as the strongest newcomer in the election polls earlier on in the campaign, and he has since been marked as the second favourite PL candidate.
Attard will form part of the centre-left Socialists & Democrats group when in Brussels, joining his colleague Alex Agius Saliba.
