The vibe inside the Naxxar Counting Hall moments after the votes started being counted is still a light and positive one, with PN’s David Agius saying everyone’s getting ready for “an interesting game for the sixth seat”.
“It’s like I’m contesting for the first time ever,” Agius told Lovin Malta’s Tim Diacono moments after a light moment of banter with competing PL candidate Clint Azzopardi Flores.

“The vibe is butterflies everywhere.”
“There might be some small movement,” Agius said when asked about any early indication on the gap between the two major political parties.
“It’s not easy to say for now, there’s still time left,” the candidate said when asked on whether he had high hopes that he would be elected.
