“They’re telling me I’m third but I don’t know, I don’t have access to the votes like the PN and PL do, neither does the AD have access,” Cassola told Lovin Malta’s Tim Diacono upon his arrival at the Naxxar Counting Hall this afternoon. “So we can’t know how many votes we got, at least for now.”
“I don’t know how this will end, but I’d like to thank whoever voted for me, and even whoever didn’t vote for me actually,” Cassola continued. “This is a vote of hope for the future of people who don’t love the noise and banging but love to reason things out and talk about everyday politics.”

“This shows that there is a substantial section of the population that wants a different kind of politics, that looks at the future, that needs to stop making Malta uglier, that wants to give prominence to the youth,” Cassola said, going on to blatantly and transparently express he spent around €24,000 during the campaign and got around €10,000 in donations.
