Watch: People ‘Obviously’ Voted For Peace, Roberta Metsola

EP President Roberta Metsola was clear about what this weekend’s vote represented… despite weeks of PL implying a vote for her would mean a vote for war.

“What do you think?” Metsola told Lovin Malta’s Tim Diacono when asked about what the vote meant for her. “The European Parliament, and the European Union, is a project for peace, and whoever voted showed everyone that that is what they believe in, not war.”

Metsola is projected to have gained an overwhelming number of votes, with some reports saying she might even break a national record of MEP votes, possibly even exceeding two quotas’ worth of votes.
