Watch: Peter Agius Receives Warm Welcome At Counting Hall
PN MEP candidate Peter Agius received a warm welcome at the Naxxar Counting Hall this evening when he arrived just before 8pm, hugging party volunteers and thanking everyone for their hard work.
With people being overheard complimenting Agius for “everything he did for the party”, the atmosphere in the PN side of the Counting Hall continued to be positive and optimistic all throughout the evening, with claps and chants being heard even at this later hour.
As it stands, Peter Agius is currently PN’s second-favourite MEP candidate as far as first-preference votes go, and the seventh in total. However, with Roberta Metsola expected to amass a historic number of votes, Agius may be one of the PN candidates who inherits so many second-preference votes that he could make it well past the quota.
