Watch: ‘Tuna S-Siġġu!’, PN Chants Erupt As Bernard Grech Arrives
With more and more reports indicating a record-low gap between PL and PN, supporters of the Nationalist Party have been in increasingly high spirits inside the Naxxar Counting Hall, erupting in celebration the moment leader Bernard Grech arrived on the scene.
As Grech squeezed his way into the hall, hugging people and smiling as everyone else chanted his name, the crowd started singing, “Give us the seat”, in a reference to the highly-contested fourth MEP seat which PL could end up losing and see the two major political parties elect three MEPs each.

“I am being told that the gap between the two parties is 15,000 votes, or perhaps even less. It is clear that the PN is moving forward in a calm and mature manner. People not only want a better country but are realising it is only the PN that can provide this,” Grech said in a televised statement earlier today when Labour’s victory was announced but reported to be the lowest its been in over a decade.
Lovin Malta is live from the Naxxar Counting Hall all day today, so stay tuned for more updates as we get them.
