Netflix’s Black Mirror is finally returning to our screens with a new set of sci-fi horror and twisted satire… but this time round, there’s also going to be a slice of Malta in there!

Maltese actress and dancer Marama Corlett will actually feature in one of the new episodes of Black Mirror’s sixth season, which launched its first teaser less than 24 hours ago.

And while very brief, we’ve already been given a look at her character in the trailer featuring the likes of Aaron Paul, Salma Hayek, Josh Hartnett, Kara Mara, Michael Cera, and Daniel Portman.

While not much more has been given in the way of information on Marama’s role in the new season of the critically acclaimed series, we do know from her IMDB page that she will play the part of a character named Theta.

No stranger to big international productions, Marama has starred alongside Rupert Grint on Sick Note, and Karl Pilkington in Sick Of It, and got to her flex her badass acting skills in the popular TV series His Dark Materials and The Watch.
