Malta’s Eurovision Song Contest Miriana Conte was involved in a traffic accident in Ħaż-Żebbuġ this morning.

TVM reported that Miriana was involved in a collision at 10:30am in Mdina Road with a car that was being driven by a 40-year-old man from Birkirkara.

It is understood that the singer was on her way to her first official engagements after winning the Malta Eurovision Song Contest on Saturday evening with the song ‘Kant’

The man didn’t suffer any injuries while Miriana was hospitalised for shock.
