Mizzi Does It Again! Maltese Firm Listed Alongside Top Legendary Architects For Hyde Park Coffee House

Glorious creations are something that Malta-London architecture firm Mizzi Studios seems to constantly be churning out, and the accolades keep pouring in just as quickly.
The lattest accomplishment comes straight from top UK newspaper The Guardian, who featured Mizzi on a list of the top 10 great modern architectural works in Europe.
Taking to Facebook to share the great news, local architect Jonathan Mizzi said he was “flattered” to be included alongside iconic buildings created by massively popular architects like Zaha Hadid, Le Corbusier and Colin Fournier.
For Mizzi Studio’s work on the Serpentine Coffee House in London’s Hyde Park, the popular British paper had this to say:
“Small but rather lovely, this new cafe in Hyde Park has a brass roof that’s designed to look like a stingray.”

“From a distance, it looks like a Japanese pagoda. Inside, the theme continues: the underside of the roof is ridged to give the impression that you are inside the mouth of a sea creature.”

This latest achievement will surenly only help them join the ranks of some of the best architects in the world.
