Motorcycle Community Mourns Death Of 50-Year-Old Hungarian Man Who Died In Coast Road Crash

A motorcyclist who passed away after crashing on the Coast Road yesterday has been identified as 50-year-old Pál Lengyel.

The Hungarian man, who was a resident of St Paul’s Bay, lost control of his Honda motorcycle yesterday morning leading him to crash into the Coast Road barricades.

He received medical aid by an ambulance but later succumbed to his injuries.

Malta’s motorcycle community has paid its respects to the fallen rider. 

“Today, my friend Pál Lengyel suffered a tragic accident on the Coast Road. He died after being transported to Mater Dei. Rest in peace, my friend,” Mihály Tóth, a close friend, said on Facebook.

“Rip, it was nice to know you…until we meet again,” one of the comments read.
