A 28-year-old man was left with grievous injuries after a collision between a motorbike and a car in Żebbuġ on Tuesday evening.

The crash happened at around 6.30pm along Triq Ħ’Attard, when a Peugeot 2008 driven by a 32-year-old man from Ħal Balzan collided with a Benelli motorbike ridden by a man from Siġġiewi.

Police and a medical team were called to the scene, and the motorcyclist was taken to Mater Dei Hospital by ambulance, where he was certified as suffering from grievous injuries.

Investigations are ongoing.
