‘Never Give Up And Follow Your Dreams’: Bradley Zerafa Wins ParaDarts Open Championship In Hungary
A Maltese dart player has won gold during his very first international sports competition.
During the Budapest ParaDarts Open Championship held in the Honved Fencing Centre in Budapest, Hungary, Bradley Zerafa made it to the final round where he dominated Hungary’s David Orban with a final score of 4-0.
Istvan Kokai and Tibor Serenji came in third and fourth place respectively.
Speaking to Lovin Malta, Zerafa urged players “to never give up and follow their dreams.”
“As the only Maltese player in the tournament, raising the Maltese flag in victory was something I’ll cherish forever”.
The Malta Paralympic Committee congratulated Zerafa on his win, sharing snaps from the big night.
And he took to social media himself to thank everyone for their “kind comments”.
“Your support has been really overwhelming and touched my heart,” he said. “This is just the beginning of the Rage Wheeler.”
