Neville Gafà Denies Any Contact With Karl Gouder Beyond Now-Deleted Article
PL activist and former OPM person of trust Neville Gafà has denied ever contacting Karl Gouder.
On Monday, a day before Gouder’s death, Gafà published a blogpost in which he mocked Gouder as the “mascot of pigging out” because he had twice been co-opted to Parliament.
He deleted his article after Gouder’s death and allegations surfaced on social media that he had privately threatened the PN politician, who had just announced his intention to run for the PN secretary general role.
National Skills Council executive chairman Jeffrey Pullicino Orlando also filed a police report after receiving information that an unnamed person had threatened Gouder after he decided to contest for the PN position.
However, he declined to state who the person was.
Contacted by Lovin Malta, Gafà said he never met or contacted Gouder in any way and that his “conscience is clean”.
He said he deleted his article out of respect and prudence, not guilt.
