New ‘Air Malta’ Airline To Start Selling Tickets This Monday

Starting from Monday, December 4th, the newly established national airline of Malta will commence the sale of flight tickets.

KM Malta Airlines Limited, Air Malta’s replacement airline, declared in a statement that the Directorate for Civil Aviation has granted the license for the new airline, paving the way for its imminent operations in the coming weeks.

Additionally, KM Malta Airlines Limited unveiled its summer schedule, spanning from March 31st to October 26th, encompassing over 8,500 scheduled flights to 17 airports and 15 cities.

During the summer period, the company plans to conduct 284 flights weekly, utilising eight Airbus 320NEO airplanes, each accommodating 168 passengers.

Between late March and late October of the following year, the airline will operate 82 flights connecting Malta and Italy, 48 flights to and from Malta and France, 44 flights between Malta and the United Kingdom, and 40 flights connecting Malta and Germany, among other destinations.

Simultaneously, KM Malta Airlines Limited announced the commencement of a public hiring process, aiming to employ 375 individuals, with the initial recruitment focused on pilots and first officers.
