A new community clinic has just been opened in Iklin.

This clinic, located adjacent to the local church, will provide four services to residents of Iklin and the surrounding areas: family doctor clinic, nurse clinic, speech pathology service, and orthotics.

Deputy Prime Minister Chris Fearne stressed the importance of opening more new clinics in communities across Malta and Gozo, highlighting the positive impact on residents’ health.

Through community-based medical services, individuals can receive healthcare promptly and conveniently, he said.

He also noted that the services offered at this clinic complement the array of services provided by the Birkirkara Health Centre, which was inaugurated a few weeks ago after significant improvements in its services and aesthetics.

Fearne expressed his gratitude to the Primary Healthcare Services team for their work in this locality and in clinics in other locations that will be opening in the coming weeks.

The project, including the renovation of the building and the procurement of medical equipment, was financed by the National Development and Social Fund (NDSF).
