21-Year-Old From Żabbar Dies In Żejtun Car Crash

A 21-year-old man from Żabbar died in a car crash on Saturday morning at 07.45am.

Police confirmed in a statement that he lost control of the vehicle and crashed into a Żejtun house.

A medical team rushed the victim to Mater Dei Hospital by ambulance. Doctors certified him dead a short time later.

CPD was also involved in the emergency operation.

Magistrate Anthony Agius Bonnici is leading an inquiry into the death. A police investigation is also under way.
