BREAKING: Daphne Caruana Galizia Murder Suspect Yorgen Fenech Requests Pardon

Yorgen Fenech, the main suspect in the assassination of Daphne Caruana Galizia, has requested a pardon.
Rumours had been flying around in the last 24 hours and Lovin Malta was aware this was a possibility, but it has now been confirmed, according to a report by Times of Malta.
Fenech was arrested on Wednesday morning as he tried to flee Malta, was released on police bail last night but re-arrested this morning.
It is unknown at this stage what information Fenech is willing to provide in return for the pardon. Lovin Malta asked Joseph Muscat earlier today about the possibility of Fenech requesting a pardon in exchange for crucial information on corruption, but the Prime Minister refused to entertain the question.
“I think it’s very premature to say that. Obviously, there are always conditions…so, I am not entertaining any issue on whether there is a further request for a pardon,” he said. “What’s obvious is that I don’t shelter anyone, I will do whatever is necessary, whenever it is necessary.
