Breaking: Official Panama Document Contradicts Tonna’s Claims On Egrant Ownership

A document in the Panama company registry shows that the two companies which blogger Daphne Caruana Galizia linked to the Prime Minister’s wife were in fact given shares in the mysterious Panama company Egrant upon incorporation.
Egrant’s ownership has been an issue of contention for more than a year and has led to various contradictory statements and evidence.
Brian Tonna, the accountant at the centre of the corruption scandal that rocked Malta this week, claimed ownership of Egrant some weeks ago but has failed to prove that shares did not also belong to Dubro and Aliator, the companies allegedly linked to Michelle Muscat.
When Caruana Galizia last week alleged that payment transfers were made to a bank account belonging to Egrant, Tonna went into overdrive to prove that the company always belonged to him. However, his version of events has changed several times in the past seven days.
The details of a Lovin Malta investigation will be published soon. Stay tuned.
