Car Bomb Explodes In Bugibba
A car bomb has exploded in Bugibba killing one person, according to initial reports.
The incident seems to have taken place at 7am at Fr Harry Paderborn Street, corner with Triq il-Gifen.
Witnesses reported a massive noise, with one resident saying it reminded her of Benghazi. Another person reported a gruesome sighting of the person believed to be in the car at the time of the bomb. The victim has been confirmed as a 67-year-old businessman from Naxxar.
Another car bomb exploded one month ago in Aldo Moro Road, Marsa, injuring three people.
