EXCLUSIVE: ‘Stay Out Of My Business’ – Maltese Stripper In Egg Pelting Video Brushes Off Nation’s Concerns
The Maltese stripper who was filmed getting pelted with eggs at a bachelor party has insisted the incident was a joke to which she had given her full consent.
“Rest assured that it was a joke, not abuse,” the stripper told Lovin Malta. “The organisers are great guys and both myself and the groom had given our full consent [prior to the egg pelting]. Afterwards, they told me thank you for trusting them.”
The video, which went viral on WhatsApp last weekend, showed a group of men and a child pelting several eggs at the stripper and the groom. The stripper could be heard swearing at the men, calling them bastards and savages and telling them they’re hurting her.
Asked about these comments, she said she just wanted the people to throw the eggs less roughly.
This is not a matter of what is legal or not, but of what is acceptable or not. Such behaviour, filmed and then publicly circulated, against a human being is totally reprehensible.https://t.co/OLu3VYSpAL

There are people who think that money buys you the #right to humiliate others and strip them of their #dignity

Several people, including Equality Minister Edward Zammit Lewis, PN equality spokesperson Claudette Buttigieg and Women’s Rights Foundation chairperson Lara Dimitrijevic, have condemned the incident as one of abuse.
However, the stripper’s message to concerned people is loud and clear.
“Stay out of my business and don’t interfere in what I do with my life. It was a private event at a farmhouse and we didn’t harm anyone so don’t judge me.”
Her message tallies with what one of the party organisers was quoted as saying by The Times of Malta, which is that the stripper had given her explicit consent prior to the pelting.
“It was all paid for, with her full consent and without forcing [her],” he wrote, adding the organisers had given her food and drink and paid for her taxi home after the party.
