A large political event which was scheduled for Fgura this Sunday and was being seen by many as a show of force by the Labour Party amidst political turmoil has been “postponed”, organisers have said.

“Sunday’s event has been postponed because of the country’s delicate atmosphere,” the event admins Ġenerazzjoni li jmiss said at around 2:30pm.

Meanwhile, the Facebook event has been marked as cancelled.

Also, Joseph Muscat’s official Facebook page has just changed its banner photo from a poster of Sunday’s event to a generic photo that was uploaded back in October.

This comes just moments after media houses all over the country started reporting that Joseph Muscat is set to resign as Malta’s Prime Minister “imminently”.
