Maltese Businessman Killed By Islamic Terrorists In Somalia
Paul Anthony Formosa, a Maltese businessman, has been killed in Somalia, in an attack claimed by the Al-Shabaab Islamic terror group.
Formosa, the manager at Bossasso for P&O Ports, a subsidiary of the Dubai-based DP World, was reportedly killed in the Somali capital of Mogadishu.
“An armed man shot and killed Paul Anthony Formosa who was the construction project manager for DP World, he was killed inside the port and the security forces also shot the killer on the spot,” a local security official, told AFP.
Al-Shabaab later claimed responsibility for the attack, accusing Formosa of being in Somalia illegally.
