Police Called To Fgura To Investigate Bomb Found Under Car

Police were called to Fgura earlier this evening after a car bomb failed to detonate properly.
The incident, which took place at 6:30pm, was flagged when police were called in to investigate a ‘strange sound’ on Triq Sant Antnin.
According to a report on ONE news the bomb used was different to that in Daphne Caruana Galizia’s murder. Police sources who spoke to MaltaToday confirmed the car belongs to a man known to the police.
Sources close to the police have also said the fact the bomb didn’t detonate will aid the investigation. The government has pledged their support in helping find those involved in planting the bomb.
