‘They Robbed Your Right To See Your Own Children Grow’: Rita Ellul’s Daughter Posts Heartbreaking Message

One of the three daughters of 49-year-old Rita Ellul has issued a heartbreaking tribute in the wake of her mother’s death.
“Mother, your life was taken from you. You were deprived of your chance to see us grow. Us, your children whom you loved so much.”
“You used to tell me that when I’m sad, I should cheer myself up by watching videos of [my daughter]. That I would see them and smile and that I would feel better.”
“Now I cannot answer [my daughter] when she asks when she could see her grandmother. All I can say is that her grandmother has become an angel and now lives with the Lord.”
Two men have been arrested over the suspected murder of Rita Ellul.
The charges come after the woman’s dead body was found on Saturday, with further investigations leading the police to now treat the death as a potential case of homicide.
Police arrested two men initially – a Ghanaian and a Maltese man – with the murder. The Ghanaian is set to be charged today.
