THIS Is The Voting Story Malta Should Be Following

This totally trumps Trump.

Apart from electing a ginger president, American voters yesterday also approved Proposition 64, making California the most densely populated state in the US to legalise the recreational use of marijuana.

The proposition was on the ballot in California, Massachusetts, Maine, Arizona and Nevada, whilst voters were also in a position to decide whether it should be used for medical reasons in another four states.

Marijuana is already legalised as a recreational drug in four American states. In Colorado, one of the states where it's legal recreationally, it's reported to have shown both economic and employment benefits, creating 18,000 full-time jobs last year and generating $2.39 billion.

What does this mean for Malta?

Just that we need to wake up and smell the grass. Follow in the example of the Golden State and allow sense and liberty to prevail amidst global chaos.

With this giant victory under their hat, California are already planning their own #calafrexit / #calexit
