‘We Will Stand Firm On The Path Of Jihad’: Email That Sparked School Bomb Scare Contained Extremist Messages
Following the panic that ensued surrounding bomb threats at multiple schools around Malta, the initial email that started it all was revealed have contained a plethora of extremist pro-islamic messages.
Sources confirmed with the newsroom that the email was in fact the same one sent to schools around Naxxar, Sliema, St Julian’s, Pieta and Ħamrun.
The email opened by directly stating that “explosives are located within the building.” However, their exact whereabouts was not specified and authorities did not uncover any of the explosives in question.
It continued by stating that on behalf of a radical organisation, the sender was emphasising that no outside forces were going to deter the organisation from their activities and beliefs.
Furthermore, it spoke of “bringing justice” to any of those who oppose their beliefs in order to defend their culture, by any means necessary.
Throughout its entirety, extremist messages were written out in block lettering, emphasising the status of the organisation and their aims.
At points, the email used colloquial slurs when claiming that there had been desecration on holy sites, even going as far to threaten these individuals and any other “enemies.”
The sender closed by saying that further actions will be taken until their beliefs are widespread.
The legitimacy of these claims are yet to be confirmed as the identity of the sender has yet to be uncovered.
