An operation is underway in Luqa to rescue a woman and her dog who are currently trapped inside a burning garage.

ONE News is reporting that a fire erupted inside an underground garage that was being used as a storage for air conditioner. Police and Civil Protection officers were called on site and are trying to enter the garage through the adjacent residence.

Relatives of the trapped woman are also on site.
