60 Maltese Students Volunteer To Donate Organs Ahead Of Awareness Talks

As part of an incentive to raise awareness on organ donation, 60 MCAST students have signed up to donate their organs.

This comes on the eve of a talk being organised by the Kunsill Student MCAST (KSM) on organ donation. Tomorrow’s talk will be held at the MCAST Youth Hub, on the Paola main campus’ students house.

Applications to donate organs will be handed out tomorrow during the talk, and the KSM has urged students to not only attend, but also “help out in spreading awareness and knowledge ourselves with the happiness we would be spreading around after our passing.”

The talk, which is being organised in collaboration with Aġenzija Zgħazagħ, follows KSM’s successful organ donation campaign back in November.

More information can be found on the official Facebook event page.
