Coding and bonding have just come together in the most adorable way. GO Malta are holding coding sessions to get kids and their parents closer together through their love of many lines of 1s and 0s.

The Maltese firm is holding a series of Coding Sessions for its employees and their children, nephews and nieces to expose them to the glories of technology.

As the little ones and their guardians indulge in their love for all things binary, they learn that coding isn’t just a subject at school, but something you can actually create things with.

“Kids are so tuned to technology these days and this is such a great initiative,” one of GO’s employees said. “My boys had a blast and it was great connecting with them on this level. It’s something we don’t often get the opportunity to do, and GO helped carve out some special time for it. It also gave them a chance to learn about where and why mummy works here.

The purpose behind these awesome classes is to encourage more and more children to go for the sciences and technology at school.

The way the sessions are organised allows both parents and kids to enjoy the coding class together and it also serves as a bonding experience for them all.

And GO does a lot when it comes to bringing kids closer to the world of technology, especially given that these are the guys who are embracing the Technological Age. So GO makes sure to offer them a space where they can experiment and play with technology.

In fact, last November the Go Tech Fair allowed the team’s kids, nieces and nephews to try out different types of technology, with games and coding sessions which they all enjoyed.

“GO is confident that we can take this initiative to the next level with the hope that we see kids who have a passion for technology become technology gurus one day thanks to such opportunities,” Sarah Camilleri, the Human Resources Senior Manager at GO, told Lovin Malta.
