Love Island Malta is launching an ‘overs’ edition, giving older contestants a chance to find love on a televised show.

After the huge success of Love Island Malta’s first season, works are well underway for a second season, which is set to start airing in May.

There has been a lot of interest, and producers received several applications from people older than the typical age range of Love Island participants. Rather than casting them aside, they have decided to launch a new Love Island, specifically for older contestants seeking to find love, and perhaps some national fame, in a villa.

A billboard has been erected in Marsa confirming this new show, which will be a first for the international Love Island franchise, and applications are now open.
