Buġibba Bar Raises Almost €5,000 For Harvey, Three-Year-Old Boy Fighting Leukaemia
The Falcon Bar, situated in Buġibba, recently raised almost €5,000 for Harvey, a three-year-old English-Macedonian boy fighting Leukaemia.
Led by Smudge Thomson, two events were organised, with the first one involving local talent acts, and the second event bringing together Malta’s biker group for a charity ride to raise donations for the young patient.
The first event, which was held on 18th February, featured various performers including singers, magicians, and comedy hypnosis, such as Owen Leuellen, and Tony Farrugia The Strong Man.
“I have worked tirelessly for two months to raise as much money as I can for little Harvey. I can’t believe the amount raised! €4,411 while writing this,” Smudge told Lovin Malta.
“I want to say a massive thank you to each and every person who donated for this and who came to my events and performed. You are all superstars!” she said.
“A presentation will be done as soon as I can arrange it with Harvey’s mother. Thank you, from the bottom of my heart to everyone.”
Smudge also said that donations are still being accepted until Monday, hoping to reach the final target of €5,000 for Harvey.

Harvey recently turned three years old, celebrating his birthday in January, as his battle against cancer continues.
