‘Dear Dad’: Daughters Speak Out One Year After Ta’ Qali Construction Fatality Took Their Father
Today, in commemoration of their father one year after his death on a Ta’ Qali construction site, two of Adrian Muscat’s daughters took to social media to share their personal thoughts.
Although a year has passed since this fatal accident, his family have yet to fully understand what happened on that fateful day.
His daughter Shaian, asked “Why you? How?” while Celine added “But why? So many questions but all so silent.”
Muscat was declared to have passed at the scene of the accident, having fallen into a narrow shaft when a piece of heavy duty machinery overturned.
These details were shared with his family, and the general public, soon after the incident, prompting an outpouring of condolences.
However, in the year since his death, no more information has been uncovered which could explain how this tragedy arose.
While no amount of information could be an adequate consolation for this loss, Adrian’s family is clearly seeking more understanding. Until they get it, we are left only with their messages to their late father.
