From Brussels, To London, To Malta: Daphne Caruana Galizia’s Memory Honoured Across The Continent
Today marks the seven-year anniversary of the assassination of investigative journalist Daphne Caruana Galizia.
Her murder rocked all of Europe, serving as a sober reminder of the dark reality that continues to exist in democracies across the continent. It is a tragedy that no one will be able to forget and each year, tributes pour in to honour her life both as a sharp-witted investigator and a tender woman who was loved wholeheartedly by those around to her.
In Brussels, around 30 people joined PN MEP David Casa to honour her memory.

A similar demonstration was organised in London today with around 13 people gathering in front of the Malta High Commission in the UK’s capital city to mark the seven-year anniversary.
The US Embassy also shared a message of solidarity with Daphne’s cause.
Besides politicians and organisations, normal citizens, some who didn’t know Daphne personally, shared posts detailing how both her life and death touched them.
