As each year comes to a close, new hopes begin budding for the next one. Many of these aspirations are simple but powerful, aimed at addressing the world’s persistent challenges.
In a series reflecting on the past year, Lovin Malta asked prominent Maltese politicians to share their aspirations for 2025 as well as lessons learned in 2024, offering a glimpse into their visions for a brighter future.

“Standing firm against injustice and lies, especially when they target innocent people and harm their families. One must have the courage to confront these wrongs head-on, refusing to leave any stone unturned in the pursuit of truth and fairness.”
Hope for 2025
“I hope for a lasting peace to take root, particularly in regions like the Middle East and Ukraine, where conflict has caused immense suffering. We must come together around the discussion table, engaging in meaningful dialogue to find sustainable solutions through diplomacy. I believe it’s possible to create a future where peace and prosperity prevail over war.”
