Hundreds Of Boxes Donated For #LovinMiliedChallenge

Never underestimate the generosity of the Maltese

Untitled Design 37

The Maltese have outdone themselves again! More than 500 people have taken us up on the #LovinMiliedChallenge, helping to fill two entire offices at the Valletta Hub with wrapped boxes of Christmas gifts prepared for the less fortunate. Thank you for your incredible generosity.

Now we need your help again. Since so many people donated boxes, we need to find more NGOs and care homes to help distribute them to those most deserving. These are the places with whom we have already organised delivery. If you know of any more who may be willing to pick up boxes from our offices in Valletta, please tell them to get in touch with us on hello@lovinmalta.com or by calling 79241187 to coordinate.

We need to do this before Christmas Day. Let's make sure nobody is left without a gift this Christmas. So please suggest children's homes, crèches, orphanages, refugee centres, elderly homes and safe-houses.

These are the box categories we have received, and we have roughly equal numbers of each:

Gift Box 1: Mother & Baby Box

(Including items like soft towels, talcum powder, pack baby wipes, scented soap, Christmas tree decoration, chocolate treat)

Gift Box 2: Kids Box (3-10)

(Including items like soft toys, bouncy balls, crayons, colouring books, Christmas tree decoration and chocolate treat)

Gift Box 3: Older Girl's Box (11-16)

(Including items like a scarf, hair accessories, notebooks, Christmas tree decoration and chocolate treat)

Gift Box 4: Older Boy's Box (11-16)

(Including body spray, wallet, socks, notebooks, Christmas tree decoration, chocolate treat)

Gift Box 5: Elderly Citizen Box

(Including blankets, slippers, a Christmas card, Christmas Tree decoration, chocolate treat)

We could also use some help with the actual delivery so if you have a van you can spare on Thursday and Friday please get in touch!

And if you haven't yet delivered to our offices by today, please find another way of gifting your boxes to the right charities. We cannot accept anymore. Perhaps you can speak to your local council or church to find someone in your community who would appreciate it.
