Young triathlete Jake Vella is back in hospital, according to the ROHHAD Association.

“Urgent prayers needed for Jake Vella too, another of our ROHHAD warriors who is ill in hospital at the moment. Please keep Jake and his family in your prayers our thoughts love and prayers are with them at this time,” the ROHHAD association said in a Facebook post.

ROHHAD syndrome is a rare syndrome affecting children, causing previously normal healthy children to gain weight and have breathing difficulties, as well as other problems.

Jake’s story of resilience has been followed by millions of people around the world.
