Malta Police Drop Everything To Help Deliver Baby

The Malta Police Force kicked off Police Week in the most awesome way possible this morning, restoring our faith in humanity in the process.

At around nine in the morning, in the midst of one of Malta’s notorious traffic jams in Vjal Santa Luċija in Paola, an Inspector and Constable were approached by a man who had a pregnant woman about to give birth in his car. “Without any hesitation, the Officers escorted the couple through the traffic and all the way to Mater Dei Hospital,” a Malta Police Force Facebook page said. 

After the incredible act, the two police officers proceeded to attend an event in Valletta’s Freedom Square, which was actually the start of the celebration of the 203rd Anniversary of the Malta Police Force. The Police Band, Precision Drill Team, Dog Section and Mounted Sections present during the activity.
