Jake Vella continues to steal the hearts of thousands of people, and now, his story has gone international. Over the last week, his story was shared on The Daily Mail, ABC News, Men’s Health and LAD Bible, to mention but a few. 

With more and more people constantly being moved by the eight-year-old’s story and joining #TeamJake, his mother Maruska is absolutely moved by the positive comments her family has recently received. “People love him so much. Everyone from around the world is sending messages, and we couldn’t be more grateful,” she told Lovin Malta, which first shared Jake’s heartbreaking and inspiring story.

Last week, Jake’s dream came true (virtually) when he got to speak to his heroes, Olympic triathlon champions the Brownlee Brothers, during a 30 minute Skype talk, despite their incredibly busy schedule.
