28-year-old Maltese music entrepreneur Nikki Camilleri has made it onto the Forbes Top 30 ‘Under 30’ Europe list.

The Maltese entrepreneur, who relocated to London in 2014, landed herself among some entertainment industry giants, including the likes of actors Bella Ramsey (‘The Last of Us’), Asa Butterfield (‘Sex Education’), and Anya Chalotra (‘The Witcher’).

Camilleri is the founder of ‘Mana‘, a consultancy firm dedicated to supporting underrepresented artists which she established in 2021.

The name of the firm was inspired by the Maltese word ‘magħna’ meaning ‘with us’ or ‘as a collective’.

Camilleri has over a decade of experience under her belt across prominent music entities such as Warner Music, Believe Group, and Glastonbury Festival. She has worked closely with and signed artists who have achieved remarkable success, accumulating millions of streams and performing numerous sold-out live shows. Notable talents she has collaborated with include Ayelle, Alfa Mist, and David Guetta.

Before establishing Mana, Camilleri held roles coordinating events for London’s mayor, leading music and media initiatives at the music marketing company Beatchain, and managing accounts at the brand agency M&C Saatchi.

Reacting to her landing on the prestigious Forbes list, Camilleri admitted that she’s “shocked”.

“Helping artists is all I’ve ever wanted to do and all I will keep trying to do for as long as I’m able,” she wrote in an Instagram post.

“I’ve had doubts and really questioned what I was doing … I still do. But what has always brought me back is seeing any impact I’ve made for the arts however small it is. Especially in a time when the arts are under increased pressure with reduced funding.”

“While making it onto the Forbes list isn’t the be all and end all of life, what it represents in recognition and taking a moment to celebrate anything you’ve done that you feel pleased with is important,” she continued.

Candidates nominated for the list are evaluated by Forbes staff and an independent panel of expert judges, who assess various factors including funding, revenue, social impact, scale, innovation, and potential.
